Mr. deGeneres was born October 15, 1962 in New Orleans, Louisiana. He received his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 1986 and his law degree from the Paul M. Hebert School of Law at Louisiana State University in 1991. Mr. deGeneres was admitted to the Louisiana bar in 1992. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern, Western and Middle Districts of Louisiana. Mr. deGeneres is a managing partner of the firm and practices primarily in the area of personal injury litigation.
Mr. deGeneres is a member of several professional associations including the Louisiana State Bar Association, Baton Rouge Bar Association, and Louisiana Association for Justice.

He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Southwestern Louisiana in Lafayette, Louisiana in 1983 and his law degree from Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 1987. Mr. Herpin was admitted to the Louisiana bar in 1987. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern, Western and Middle Districts of Louisiana and the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Herpin is a managing partner of the firm and practices primarily in the areas of personal injury and Bankruptcy litigation.
